Another early morning start as you head to the Ngorongoro Crater – one of the new 7 Natural Wonders of Africa. Not only does the Ngorongoro Crater offer breathtaking scenery, but it is also home to over 25,000 wild creatures. You may be lucky enough to spot the Big 5 here. Estimates suggest there are roughly 7,000 wildebeest, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland, 3,000 gazelles, 600 hyenas, 200-300 elephants, over 60 lions, 30 rhinos, and many others in this small area, so I hope your camera is charged and ready to go. The crater itself is about 610m deep and covers 260 square kilometers, providing ample opportunities to spot your favorite animals. After a 4-5 hour game drive, we will drive back to the hotel in Moshi or Arusha or fly back home
